Content for Large Study Choice Website - Learning in International Cities

Looking for a competent, experienced and motivated writer with good research skills to write engaging web content targeting international students and language learners. The writer should have experience with writing quality English content for websites and should be able to select the most relevant content in line with given requirements. Experience with writing education content is a plus. For this project we need the following texts for the city of Atlanta, United States: 1) These texts should target ONLY prospective students who want to study in a university abroad: • 60 words summary for studying in city • 1000 words description for studying in city 2) These texts should target language learners (including student) who want to learn or advance their skills in a certain language in a language school in that same particular city: • 60 words summary for language learning in city • 800 words description for language learning in city The 4 texts should amount to about 1920 words. See attachments for details on text structure and keywords required. In the attachment you will also find examples for the city of London. Please, keep in line with the given structure. In order to avoid complications, candidates are encouraged to submit a written sample 300-500 word related to the texts in order to confirm they understand the task. If the task is successful, the freelancer will be invited to participate in a new project with 10 more texts for other internatonal cities. If all goes well, there are 40 more cities we need texts for. Other details: Some of the information in the first text can be used in the second one, but it must be relevant to the requirements and should follow the precise instructions given. NEVER USE DIRECTLY COPIED CONTENT from websites! Use British English writing standards. Be careful to include the right information under the right section. Not things related to career under internationality, for example… The purpose of the texts is to attract readers from Google. The information needs to include information the target audience would be interested in. Always keep this in mind when including any kind of information. Ask yourself: would a student/language learner be interested in knowing this? How does this information help the student/language learner to decide on a study in that specific city? Avoid starting sentences with “there are”, “it is” – using active voice and mentioning the city name is always recommended as an alternative (“Atlanta is…”) The texts should be a mix of original content, relevant information and commercial keywords. Keep information realistic and avoid categorical statements such as: “you simply must choose Atlanta as a study destination”. Statements such as these are preferred: “Atlanta is a good study option if you…” If mentioning rankings, please mention the specific ranking quoted. Where not sure about information it’s good to avoid fixed statements even more. Use words like “sometimes”, “in some cases”, “some”, etc. Try looking over the structure and example provided while you write the new text not to forget anything. Or review the text once more after writing it, making sure you included everything. Avoid mentioning less desirable aspects, or if you mention them also include a positive side to it.
