In AWS, Create a process to backup a MySql DB and Restore it

Good day! I have implemented similar processes before, would be happy to help you set up your backup and restore routine. Please get in touch and just clarify what you mean by the source DB is not in your control, does it mean you only have access to the database but not to manage the infra?

Happy new year. As an experienced full stack developer with AWS experience, I've one question to clarify the requirements of this task. I clearly got the idea of what need to be done but I'm not clear about what it means if source db is not in the cloud we can control. How can we access the source db and restore it to another if it's not in the cloud we can control? If you give me a obvious idea about it, I'm very sure I can complete the task in a couple of days.
