[ABSTRACT] Webpage that will use Amazon web services to offer a shop for users. It should have a good store layout, searching, etc all things offered under the AWS web services system. I should be able to make some mockups for how I want it to look. Webpage must also require users to create their own accounts via my webpage, which stores their email address, and only allow registered users to access the page. When they make perchases via AWS, it should also keep track of what ASIN's they bought as well as purchase date and price paid (this may prove to be tricky, or maybe very simple). If this proves to be hard, we can jsut add entries for items they add to their cart. The users must be informed of this, and a privacy policy can be drafted by me. They must also be able to add/remove ASINs/price entries to this list via their control panel. [USE CASES] * Users must register to shop ??" table: user_id, email, password * Amazon search bar * Display of results in a decent layout * Manage shopping cart, add/remove items * Allow users to check out * must keep local DB of items people buy ??" table: order_id, user_id, date, ASIN, price [PLATFORM] * must run within a godaddy account (deluxe plan, linux) which supports PHP 4 and 5, perl, python, ruby [DESIGN] * it should function a lot like [login to view URL] or a more simple example like [login to view URL] * design should not be the main part of this project. If you can use a template Amazon shop (like the one available above) you *SHOULD* use it. I am not concerned about design. The MAIN portion of this project should be user management and storing ASINs that people bought. I suggest you use a templated site, as long as it is easy to maintain. [DELIVERABLES] * can use open source libs/templating * delivery includes installation on godaddy via provided FTP credentials, you must set up any necessary install requirements, and insure the server supports all your code. * Full source code is required
