Brief: to develop a working prototype MIDI instrument that controls computer music software. The device will use a microcontroller and will consist of a printed circuit board. The prototype will involve developing the hardware and the software. Using off the shelf components and existing open source code. Requirements: ● Preferably works with an iOS device to operate GarageBand’s virtual instruments ● Velocity sensitive buttons ● A matrix of 28 buttons, which are velocity sensitive and trigger MIDI notes. ● LEDs will light up when buttons are pressed ● The LEDs which light up the buttons need to be multicolor LEDs that light up according to the note. ● Powered by 240V mains You will need to design a working prototype. The final prototype will use an existing microcontroller (Arduino or rasberry Pi) and/or a full printed circuit board. Excellent english skills are a must.

We will ship you fully working hardware with proper enclosure. in first prototype we will use Arduino later on we will remove arduino board and use single AVR chip to reduce the PCB size and fabrication cost.
