Digital Marketing Consultant

• Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website utilising a range of techniques including PPC, SEO, remarketing and display advertising • Manage bidding strategy, keyword research and copy split testing • Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website • Optimise on-site content and contribute to link-building work • Analyse and improve the website to increase conversion ratios • Introduce new elements to the website/landing pages to improve the user experience and shorten the number of clicks to conversion • Facilitate the growth of organic search through SEO optimisation • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website • Monitoring return on investment for the different online marketing campaigns • Managing the content diary for social media content • Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt • Developing and managing the companies email campaigns and communicating company brand through email marketing • Analysis of current email marketing campaigns and developing improvements • Managing trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise sales • Tracking and reporting on email campaigns in order to guide improvements • Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry • Analyse and report on all digital marketing activities • Blog writing • Stay at the forefront of new digital marketing opportunities, technologies and best practices • Identify client trends and feedback to management Requisite skills/experience: • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar or related role working on PPC, SEO, banner ads, social media, mobile and affiliate marketing campaigns either client or agency side • Strong attention to detail and numerically astute • Keen commercial instinct and eye for an opportunity • Experience working with Google Analytics, overseeing PPC campaigns, monitoring their performance and ROI • Recommended tools, metrics, and best practices for the measurement of online marketing campaigns • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Copywriting experience (web, blog, email) • Experience of b2b technology marketing • Google Adwords certified • Understanding of conversion optimisation and funnelling • CIM qualification in digital marketing
