Design a syringe tray loading machine. First the operator loads a stack of nested trays approx 20" x 6" x 1.13" into a downstacker. The downstacker will place 1 tray at a time approx every 20 seconds. The conveyor will then transfer the tray to the filling station where a 8" Diameter rotary dial with a vacuum suction will grab hold of syringe being discharged from a vibratory linear feeder. The rotary dial are to be mechanically linked. There is a dead space on the dial that syncs with a pusher located on the conveyor. Once the tray is filled it is conveyed to the upstacker where it is stacked into stacks of 21 trays. Every other tray will have to rotated 180 degs. This allows the tray pads to create a non nested stack. The machine will require guarding and limit switches for safety. 2013 solidworks models of the tray, syringe, and general layout of the machine exist and will be available for use. We require a design with a bill of material and vendor specific components. The materials of used should be limited to Stainless Steel or anodized aluminum. Plastics should be limited to delrin.
