City Transport Vehicle Concept Design

INTRODUCTION: City Transport Vehicle would be a two row, single 100 seat hybrid vehicle which would be a mix between a bus and a high speed rail train. The vehicle would have a “millipede” like wheel base with multiple wheels, a wide base for traction, and a accordion middle connector that would connect the front and rear ends of the vehicle together. This addition is seen on some extra long city business and would aid in turns and maneuvering the long vehicle. The vehicle primary use would be between city travel i.e. New York to Chicago, Dallas to Houston, Orlando to Miami, LA to Las Vegas, and Seattle to Portland PROVIDERS DUTIES & DELIVERABLES: The ideal provider should have experience in transportation, automobile, commercial vehicle, or aerospace vehicle design. The provider would be tasked to design the vehicle concept. This design would include the following: • Chassis & Base Design Concepts • Body & Frame Design Concepts • Exterior Amenities Design Concepts • Interior Amenities Design Concepts • OEM furniture and systems display Design Concepts All of these areas would be include in the original vehicle final design concept. The designer should design the vehicle in a modular structure focused on manufacturing and assembly which means each part could be design in parts like a puzzle, shipped from the manufacturer and assemble in another location with a minimal team or 20 or less people. The designer would offer three different models or the same model design however powered by three different means of alternative fuel methods: they are; • All electric vehicle aka EV • All compressed hydrogen gas vehicle aka CHG • All compressed natural gas vehicle aka CNG The specifications would need account for the drive train or power train components i.e. electric motors etc. The provider would be tasked to provide the concept drawings, technical specification drawings, and technical breakdown of pieces for manufacturing and assembly guidance. REQUIREMENTS & AWARD PROCESS: This project is sensitive in nature since it involves education institutions. I would require a project agreement and statement of work with product NDA. The rate and fee for this project will be negotiable between the service provider and our party. To be considered please provide a summary of experience background.
