Design a high quality PCB that reads pH and EC from sensors end sends readings over USB

I have over 35 years experience as an electronic design engineer, please see my profile for more details The current price and timescales are only place holders to allow me to communicate with you I have only just designed a PH and EC interface circuit for another customer. These have analogue outputs that can be fed directly into the ADC ports of a micro controller. The PH interface was an update of a design that I implemented a while ago to measure swimming pool water. Then I did a newer version for fish ponds and finally this recent development with the EC probe. The PH interface circuit is completely isolated using a very high impedance amp so that ensures long probe life. The EC interface was developed using the application note CN3059 from analogue devices. This provides a very accurate method of measuring EC. I have not implemented the software on the EC design, my customer is doing that. However there is no reason that I could implement this and have the data sent to a USB port. Hello, For a better understading of the device I need to know where you want to place it. It will be place in the soil or in water ? The type of electrod that we use, can influnece the precision and also the circuite that reads the information from the sensor and gives it out on the USB can influnce this. A good sensor and a good data aqusition circuite should be made. If you have time I will like to talk to you about the project. About me: I have 8 years of product design in the automotive industry. Hello, I can design this PCB including hardware and firmware. I will deliver all necessary files for production (Gerber, NC-Drill, BOM, firmware) and also schematics and PCB layout as PDF for reference purposes. The firmware will be programmed by you using a very low-cost programmer (around $15-$20), and I will show you all the needed steps. It would be nice if you knew in advance which sensors you plan to use for pH and EC measurements so I could check their datasheets for specs. The down-payment is needed to cover possible probe costs for my testing during design. I assume any Linux side software required is your responsibility, and I will need to work with you on defining the protocol of communication between the device and the Linux unit. hi i am expert embedded system What type of sensor you are using? what kind of output data sensor? ttl, i2c or analog voltage? if i2c or TTL and you use raspberry pi, it does not need additional boards.. just code in raspberry pi thanks

Hello Sir THis is interesting project. I can offer you complete design for it including firmware (software on PCB) I can make really nice solution for you, something like shield for arduino which will do PH and EC measurements for you. It can be really easy plug and play. So my idea is to make a PCB which will be on top of arduino (shield for it) It will have all of the USB functions and so on. Firmware should be really easy for me. If you are interested i can do complete solution for you. Hello, i'm an electronics engineer with many years of experience in instruments design. I already have done both ph-meter and conductivity meter instruments in the past; the newest part should be regarding the software on raspberry , achievable with an usb serial port converter (the easyest way) or by wrinting a driver for raspberry.
