Tombooks is a startup which creates and sells interactive sheet music for iPad. Please find here a demo video: [login to view URL] You will also find more information on our website: [login to view URL] We need freelancers who can help us with the production of the scores and the settings of the timings to syncronize the sheet music and the audio. Here is what needs to be done: 1. Open the audio file I will send you with Logic or ProTools and cut the beginning so that the music starts directly. There shouldn’t be any silence before the beginning of the music. 2. Export the audio file in mp3 format, maximum quality 320 kbps. 3. Open Sibelius, copy a score from a PDF in the right format. 4. Open Sonic Visualizer, import the mp3 file and match the timecode. Export the layer in a .txt file. 5. Send us per Wetransfer: - The new MP3 audio files - The .sv file - The .txt file - The .xml file Requirements: - Good knowledge of Sibelius or Finale - Good knowledge of Sonic Visualizer or a similar software

I was working with MIDI sequencing and audio processing since 1991 in all major computer programs: Atari Cubase and Logic, then ProTools, Finale, Sibelius. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking to do. Do you have scores already in a Sib/fin file or in a PDF that you need my to recreate in Sib/fin, then import with audio and time tag? I didn't quite understand if we're just linking a pdf to audio or if there is a Sib/fin file that we're linking? I need a bit more understanding. Sorry, I don't work for 11/ hr. I've done music engraving and orchestration track for many years. I worked for the company who created Finale for 10 years as a clinician. If that is the going rate I won't be interested. What is the scope of the project? is this an ongoing project with many files to create of just a few 'start up' files? Let me know. Thanks

Hi, I am a great match for your job! I have a degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College, where we learned a lot about matching video to audio with FRAME accuracy if needed. Since then I've been working as a freelance composer and audio editor, and got even more experience with this type of work. List of the relevant software I use, both on PC&Mac: Digital Performer 8, Logic X, Pro Tools 11, Cubase 5.1, Sibelius 7.5, Finale 2011, Audacity As for Sib and Finale, I've been making 30 stave partituras for recordings and festivals for 2 years now, about 1/3 of the time.
