Hi, We have a webserver with a SOAP interface. I need an ASP application that connects to this SOAP interface and calls one function to retrieve data. These data must then be exported in CSV in a file stored on the local disk. This application must be written in ASP and must be executed in Windows' console. I need to test this application on a PC running Windows 7. The developper must also explain me which software is required on my machine to test this application. Thanks Thierry Schneider

Hello... Well i understood your requirements that you want to retrieve data from a soap service and want to generate a csv file from that data. But why you need it with ASP? If i develop this in ASP, then you can run it using browser. But as you are saying that you want to execute it fom console application. So i can do that in C# and that will run on windows 7. A teamviewer meeting can be done after completion to give you knowledge about working of console...

Hi Thierry Hope you are doing good. Want to let you know that I have created more then 100 Exe ( console application ) for my customers. I would like to get this done for you. Let me explain how this will be working, We have to create a EXE which need to set on server, Whatever time will be set for this exe and then it will be working accordginly and csv will be generated in a particular folder. ASP is a web application to be viewed from a browser. The language behind ASP is Visual Basic, so maybe you meant that you want a VBScript (Windows script) that you can run from the Windows 7 console (command prompt or Powershell). Either ASP/VBS will be using COM automation to communicate with the SOAP webservice. Going the vbscript approach, a Windows 7 machine is all you need, no other software necessary.

Hello, Nothing is required to run the console application on Windows 7 since the .Net 3.5 framework comes already with Win 7 unless .if you require a higher version of the .Net framework, also it could be writing in VB script but all that depends on your requirements. I can write the ASP application and the console application. Thanks
