I am writing a get rich book in the first person, loosely based on my life. The reality, of course, is that I am not rich; readers won’t know this; they should infer that I am rich.
My book contains advise and stories all explained against a model of rabbits, sheep and shepherds and a the “richness” equation. Essentially sheep follow and rabbits thrive (make money) and understand the “richness equation” well.
I need a well-qualified freelancer to take my prologue and first 3 chapters (a total of 3500 words) and rewrite, expend, edit, grammar check and embellish them into about 8000 words total (adding about 5000 words). The word count target isn’t critical and, honestly, not important at if well written… It’s an approximate target to help you understand my expectations.
Attached is a writing directive ([login to view URL]) I want freelancers to follow (the intended writing style).
I have also attached a small sample ([login to view URL]) of the first few chapters as to you give you an idea of the currently quality and style. You’ll probably notice that English is my second language… hence the grammar issues.
Notice the “Freelancer direction” colored-tables that will help you and tell you want I would like to see written. But I am no artist and I would like writers to change, edit, modify whatever they want, I expect it!
I am interested in 1 milestone at the 30% cut-off (an early milestone) to examine the progress and quality. Work can take up to 30 days but I would prefer 14 or less. Please provide sample work, references.
Other Important Notes:
--I will retain full ownership of the work and copyrights as this will be strictly ghostwriting work.
--All work must be original, not re-cycled, plagiarized or previously published. No public domain content is allowed. I will be checking and reporting all violations.
--Correct grammar, spelling and proper English is essential.
Hi Mr. AlexOfFireRabbit! You are off to a great start already with your book! I understand that I have a high bid** and the full 30 days-but there is certainly a reason for it! I will explain more in a private message. As a writer/editor, I understand that any document must be grammatically correct, though in my case, it must be grammatically perfect! I even go so far as to make sure that my bid proposal follows proper English. It helps, too, that I am obsessive about the English language! That being said, please read your private message at your earliest convenience and feel free to check out my profile! Thank you for your consideration of my employment on your get-rich book.
This topic interests me and I am confident that I can do a good job. I am a published writer of short stories and articles. I have read both your directive and sample and can follow the instructions correctly. I hope you will consider me.
