Fine Tune Attendance Feature and Make Javascript Alternative

There are 3 different small separate things to this project. First, I would like to add a small additional function to the roll taking feature just completed. I have added a calendar icon. When clicked, I would like the user to be able to choose a date through a form and then immediately return to the roll taking function. This time, the only difference is that the date being written to the database will be the selected date rather than the current date. This is for people to add roll history for past days. Second, I have a form that uses Javascript to fill drop down menus based on the previous drop down selection. There are 3 fields, each dependent on the one before. This works just fine, and can be seen at: [login to view URL] My problem is that some people who register do not have Javascript, and for these users, they do not see any information in the drop down menus, and it disrupts the registration process. I need an alternative method to fill these drop downs with the same info from the database. I don't know the best way to do this, so I'm open to suggestions. Third, I would like to add to the first project that we did (the script that inserts additional registrations) the feature where an email is generated reporting what was done when the script does in fact add registrations. You had mentioned this before, but I'd like to do this if possible, so that we are notified when the script has in fact inserted new registrations.
