Need help on SQL 2005 DB

I use SQL Management Studio to attach a DB but it seem not work properly. MY DB has a secondary file group. I place the primary DB on drive C and secondary on drive F. After I attached DB, the DB still show as "Not Ready" even thought seem working ok but at slow speed. This DB has store Proc. and full text search. I need a DB admin to fix the problem and write me a quick basic lesson to manage this DB within SQL Management Studio . I like to learn how to the following things in a proper way: - attach and detach DB - DB mirror - Backup and restore DB - Go thru my DB and list out things I need to do to optimize DB. such as execute, disable, or enable some tables.... I will provide a weblink for you to access my server. We need to setup a fixed time because I have to be at the server to accept your login. I have a lot of coding and fixing for this project in next couple weeks. If any coder interest, we and further discuss.
