Website redesign

Hi everybody, here’s a website [login to view URL] that’s been launched recently and has been tested with some audience. The summary of the feedback received so far is: 1. Overall design looks a bit old-school 2. Light green colour is not appealing and looks atrocious 3. Too much text (the text also needs some proofreading – punctuation, grammar, etc) 4. It’s not really clear what the website offers and what ‘Move to Australia club’ is about, and what benefits you can get becoming a member of the club. So the website needs some magic. That’s being said, we’re looking for a person who can: 1. Do the logo and colours redesign 2. Offer 3 alternative website design options 3. Do the copywriting 4. Create a clear message what ‘Move to Australia club’ is about and what benefits can its members get Deliverables: 1. Branding (Logo Redesign / Brand Colours etc.) We expect you to use the existing logo and colours as a starting point and play with them to make them look better. 2. Copywriting We expect you to re-write the copy that is currently on the site. The goal here is to ensure that the content is able to grab and hold the reader’s attention. This will cause them to actually stay on the site longer since the information will be less daunting and simpler for the average person to digest. That can be achieved by keeping the text concise and straight to the point. Delivering this part you may want to restructure and consider reducing the amount of text that is used but make sure that the new content still delivers the main message. 3. Website alternative design options Following the completion of stages 1 and 2 we expect from you 3 alternative website design options so we can choose one of them to proceed with. 4. Website wireframe Once stages 1-3 are completed you should then put together a mock-up version of the new website – so that we can be clear on how the new site will function, and how the new copy will be displayed. Since the existing website has been created in WordPress, we expect you to create a mock-up copy using WordPress as well. Once the new website is approved, you should handover all the materials (text, images, etc.) so our website developer can use them and update the website.
