Hello Just so we don't over shoot the requirements, security is a response. Securing the system also has impact on performance but most times the lag in progress or performance is quantifiable. If you could let me in with the possible threats you envision, other than those I list down then I can make a plan which will cover it for the given threats. 1. Virus threats 2. Configuration alteration 3. USB access restrictions 4. Limitation on what can be browsed (if its a web enabled PC) 5. Deletion (accidental or intentional) of proprietary software on the PC 6. Recover-ability from OS disaster 7. Un Authorized installation of software 8. Log tempring 9. RANSOMWARE I can make a PC secure in a way that no modifications will be welcomed to it by the visitors. As an admin of course I can make amends. Restriction on USB, sites that arent allowed. I'd like to know first what apps you value on the machine.
