It is clear that you want to generate all the possible combinations (mix and match) of available products that satisfies the customer needs within the specified budget. Although the task may seem simple, there are three major challenges: 1- Performance: There must be an efficient algorithm for generating all possible combinations; otherwise, customer may lose interest in the service! 2- Ranking: The generated combinations must be ranked appropriately; otherwise, the customer may have to review too many combinations. 3- Clustering: Similar combinations must be grouped together and get expanded upon the customer request <more/similar/etc.>; otherwise, the list of combinations will grow too long. What a great idea. I propose we make a solution in Python, using Scrapy to scrape various stores for items with descriptions, images and prices. We upload this data to a pgsql database and use django as a backend web framework. To get to a collection of different bundles we will apply some recombinatorial math. I've extensive experience with the above mentioned tools.
