Paint a model sailboat

I have a scale model of a fishing schooner called the Bluenose. I would like to add authenticity to the model by painting and aging the look as close to the original as possible. I want the model to be as realistic as possible, so the wood paint should look aged and well worn, even chipped with rough edges, etc. Only B&W photos of the boat exist, but I do have some information on original color scheme. If hired, I will need to send the boat to you, and then have you return it upon completion. For this reason, I prefer somebody in the St. Louis, MO area if possible.
