Hi, I am looking for someone with strong C++ skills to work with me on a proof of concept for creating an application that will run on a MS Windows machine that will take a live video feed using OpenCV and track multiple moving objects (people) and write data from this feed into a database (ideally Oracle 12c, but not essential). I would like the proof of concept to demonstrate 1 - Count of number of people in the given area covered by the video feed 2 - Tracking of route taken by 1 or more individuals in area covered by video feed 3 - Ability to tag static areas of the area covered by the video feed a - identify how long an individual stays by a static tag b - identify the next static tag that an individual moves to 4 - Ability to track an individual from two or more video feeds 5 - Identify if an individual lies down 5 - Store date and time information If you think you're up for the challenge then please do get in contact. Hi Gareth, i have gone through the details provided, i can develop an application to track and count people and the path they have taken and develop a map of the path. I have a lot of experience in Computer Vision applications / image and video processing in mobile and windows applications, My Team experience includes Port Based container Damage detection Software: detecting damaged container and keeping record and report of containers movement, Driver fatigue detection using raspberry pi which in a matter of milli seconds determines if the driver is sleeping or not and alarm accordingly using OpenCV, Vehicle counting in the particular category they belong to on a high speed road, number plate recognition using OCR algorithm of openCV, face detection and recognition for attendance system of a school and patient management system of a medical system. I have an existing opencv3.4 (incl. neural net options) based tracking system. It has many people- tracking modes, mixtures of tracking modes, etc. (I'll show you the API and demos if you like.) I can cover some of your wish list. Tracking people can be difficult especially when you have many people, and imperfect views. If you have sample video of people, I can demo my people -trackers for you. People lying down may be a challenge as most people-recognisers expect them to be standing. (Perhaps they will work rotated 45 deg also? Will need to experiment.) If you have Windows 10 we can use docker (hopefully).

We can later see "hot zones", top visited stores, time walking, time in front a store, and so on. Hello! I'm using OpenCV (c++). 1-Count of number of people ...: we can use the standard opencv classifier (HoG) for pedestrian detection; 2 - Tracking of route taken by 1 or more individuals...: the optical flow (the Lucas-Kanade algorithm); 3 - Ability to tag static areas of the area...: optical flow (background detection)+HoG; 4 - Ability to track an individual from two or more video feeds: need more detail. 5 - Identify if an individual lies down - it is more difficult task (need to teach the classifier). I'm ready to solve tasks 1-3 for a set time and cost.
