Hi, I have experience for 15+ years in electronics/embedded development. I have several years of advanced AVR/arduino development, including library development from scratch. Practically all Arduino AVR boards used, like: 2009, 2010, UNO, MEGA, NANO, MICRO, MINI, etc. Several shields used like Ethernet (W5100, ENC28J60, etc.) with various IP protocols implementation, various graphical TFTs with and without touchscreen and various BUS types (parallel, SPI, I2C, etc.), all kinds of sensors and buses, serial and parallel memories, etc. I think I can easily fix your project by remapping the RFID reader pins as this seems to be a conflict with the RTC I2C pins. Also, You almost for sure are using a software serial implementation for the RFID reader, that is not as reliable as a direct hardware serial connection - I'll also change it to use HW serial interface for realliability. Hi, Usually touch screen comes with I2C/SPI interface, while DS3231 use I2C interface. I guess you are correct, it's about pin/ peripheral conflict. let me help you solve it. I have programing arduino since 2013 and I know how it works. I'm professional firmware engineer, So I know well how to programing embedded stuff like this. this is my daily activity. Hi, Leme brief my capabilities first. I have worked extensively ESP32 for the past 8 months at my current company as a tech lead in design and development of a custom board based on it. The projects done on the same cater the need of satisfied clients in automotive, telematics and industrial applications . BT,WIFI,SD CARD,CAN ,SPI,I2C, AI,DI,DO,AO,UART etc were interfaced and tested throughout the process. IOT projects which communicates with client server via mqtt and http were also done on the same. I have also worked on PIC,AVR,ARM,ST and much more chips and boards like arduino,Pi,nodemcu too. Since i have worked on arduino before i have faced problems while using software serial and spi together and what i did was using I2C in place of serial. We may have to try other options if needed.
