Help finish setting up CMake for project and sub-project

I have a C++ project that depends on a sub-project. This sub-project can and will be used by other projects. The main project builds the sub-projects that it requires, and in turn those sub-projects should build any other dependencies it needs, including any external projects. I think I'm about half way way there, but need an expert with CMake to help finish. Right now the project is small and manageable, I'm just eager to get started on the actual programming and not build generation systems. I'm hoping to work together with this expert to build a strong foundation for my project to grow on. This will be for a commercial product. I value the professional, well thought out, maintainable, approach. I want it done right. English speakers only.
