Build me an App for smartphone designed for university students

Our organization seeks to bring together prevention, emergency help and assistance to better respond to sexual assaults on university campuses thanks to our software application. This modern response to sexual violence will encourage opening the discussion of usual taboos, create a safe space for the community and help to durably change social norms. Our main goals are: • To simplify the access to information online of rights and support available for students thanks to a clear and gathered rubric as well as an open discussion space, peer reviews. • To preserve and maintain a safe environment for all students when living on campus. For that reason, our software application would include an emergency system, where the students could: • When on a university campus: immediately reach out to the university security services in the press of an easy, accessible emergency button on the main menu of the app when feeling threatened on campus. • When on campus but also when being in the area of the university: students could reach out to a group of 4 friends chosen by the user when feeling unsafe. Students could through an easy access button send a pre-set personalized text such as “call me, I need a distraction”, “please come pick me up” while their localization would be immediately shared.
