Develop NT-service plus front-end control panel to communicate with a cloud service

FOR ILYA Hi. Great and detailed project specification. I do have a question though: Does it need to be coded in VB.NET? I can code it in Python/Qt exactly by your specs. With small changes, the same code could run on Mac and Linux since Python is cross platform language. Thus, I consider that I will be able to fulfill your requirements. In my opinion, considering that is hard for a user to interact with a service, the service should have robustness as one of its key strengths and detailed logging as another one.
