A few edits on a Shopify website

My Shopify website is [login to view URL] NOTE. It is important that the development of these tasks take place on an unpublished duplicate copy of my theme so when these new edits goes live, the transition is seamless! The only exception to this is "Task 6" which will need to be completed in the live site. TASK 1: I want to replace the slide show on my shopify homepage ([login to view URL]) with two sections (details below). Each section need to be customisable from the theme editor and I need to be able to hide each section independently. Section 1: Title: (title needs to be customisable) Below title I want to be able to display 1 - 3 thumbnails. Thumbnails should be displayed horizontally on desktop (responsive stacking on mobile phone). I select which URL to link each thumbnail to, set an alt tag. Below each thumbnail is 3 fields of text which i can add text and hyperlinks to. I want the thumbs to collectively span the full width of site on desktop, even if there is only 1 or 2 thumbs selected. Section 2: SAME FEATURES AS SECTION 1, BUT I WILL POPULATE WITH DIFFERENT CONTENT TASK 2: This one is easy, I want a new section on homepage just above site footer with editable heading and a body of editable text. The text should be truncated after 100 words with a “... read more” link to expand and show all text. This should also be customisable from the theme editor TASK 3: change limited edition print section on home page so I select 4 featured prints. It is currently randomised. I need to be able to change the selected products in the theme editor. TASK 4: add a second description field for collection pages to display directly under existing description field. This can be done with “Metafields Master” app which I already have installed. When 2nd description field is empty It should have no effect on front end. TASK 5: replace menu in footer with editable list of quick links which can be edited via the Shopify navigation editor: "Footer menu" TASK 6: Bulk edit of internal links within description fields of all product pages on my shopify store. I want to delete“-art-for-sale” from the end of all internal links in all product description fields. I asked Shopify support and was told that this can be done easily by exporting all products, performing a find and replace on the spreadsheet and importing the edited file over the existing database. It is important that ONLY the description fields are updated and all other fields remain the same, including the inventory counts. To clarify what I mean in task 6 I have included a couple of examples: Every link to “[login to view URL]” needs to be shortened to [login to view URL] Every link to [login to view URL] needs to be shortest to [login to view URL]
