I am re-starting my consulting business after a medical leave of absence. In order to get the consultancy open as quickly as possible, I am hoping to hire one or two Virtual Assistants that will take some of the administration work away from me freeing me up to get on top of this project.
One of the VA's can provide online/email support: answering client enquiries (accessing our Zoho database to check case status for a client) and also providing admin support to me as my personal assistant (preparing paperwork and ordering legal documents on my behalf). This VA will also help us with our new media project researching local businesses in a specific community, preparing business listings for a directory, and then emailing the business to upsell premium/featured listings.
I would prefer the VA to be based in Asia or Eastern Europe so that the hourly wage for work performed will be low. I cannot afford North American wages. If I could, I would hire someone locally who would work under my supervision on site. Please do not post high hourly rates; the point of outsourcing is that I am hiring someone at a geographical distance and to compensate me for the risk, I pay a fee which is normal in your marketplace but lower than the expensive labour costs in my marketplace.
The other VA should, if possible, be located in North America or be able to speak professional English with a standard North American (or British) accent so that this VA will be able to phone North American and European clients, either to follow up on existing clients, or help close the sales for prospects enquiries. I understand that this VA may charge a higher rate so until I am making some profits, we will only send very short projects until I can afford to fund more work.
Professional grade English is obligatory for both VA roles; ability to speak/write in a foreign language might come in useful should we decide to enter a foreign market but this is not necessary at the this time.

We are a brand new call center based in the Philippines and was established last January 2009 with only few accounts started. We only started with 20 agents and now we have almost 100 agents who are working hard to give excellent service for both outbound and inbound accounts. We are not a big call center but our hearts are as big as veteran and stabled center here in the Philippines.
As a member of BPO we are stricly following policies and procedures that make us competitive when it comes to compensation given to all employees. We also have enough equipments to support the hardware and software requirements. We have the best agent that can speak English very well and communicate as one of them. English is our language.
