We are looking to automate a datafeed in XML into a central datawarehouse that needs to be set-up. We have VisualCron installed as task scheduler, and it needs to be configured to import the XML, isolate certain tags and push the resulting data to a database. The database and corresponding tables need yet to be installed/configured. We have no specific requirements for the database, although Postgres would be a good option

If your database option is PostgreSQL, I suggest you use Foreign Data Wrapper (FDW) to read XML directly of the source. If you want, I could make a Proof of concept about this for you. Just contact me and we will talk about.
