batch label generation I have a company that creates personalized labels for nurseries and schools. The school provides an excel sheet with the first name and last name of all their students. We create a label template for each school in illustrator. We need to find an automated solution to be able to create the labels file for each kid: i.e. we will have the first name and last name of each kid being written on the illustrator file automatically. And the name on the labels need to be aligned and properly placed at the center. So the job consists as creating a sort of backend system where you can login, and batch generate stickers. In order to do that, the backend will allow the upload of an excel file with preset columns that we specify, and it will generate an SVG for each row. Once we time this, we’ll know how long generating one file takes, and we can estimate how much time a certain batch process will take. If the process takes a short time, the result will get downloaded directly as a zip file. If not, it will process in the background and is then sent as an email with a download link.
