This job will be developing software for a local charity lottery. This will require the software to automatically take payment and details from users, generate a unique number that will be issued to the user and added to a database. At certain dates the software must randomly select a pre determined amount of numbers/users and then make an assessment of the total funds taken in during a weekly period before making a percentage payment to winning users bank accounts. Control over who can register is required so for example someone from USA could not register as it would be based in the UK, Or some one from Manchester couldn't register as its based in Hampshire. Obviously dealing with capital and users personal details security is also important however this is for a fairly small scale area so risk is low compared to a national scale operation. The software must be written in a way that it can be used on a website and run autonomously. Full details will be provided during preliminary meetings with selected applicants.
