Webshop with extra PHP-programming

Summary: Task is to create a web shop which can work parallell with another web shop. Like this one: I want to create a web shop like this one: [login to view URL] Customers: Only registered customers can order products. They can register themselves, but admin must approve them. Payment: All payments will be by invoice coming from a different program and is not part of the task. Another web shop This is NOT part of the task, but an explanation: We have already created another web shop. It is custom made. It consists of a MySQL-DB with a custom-made PHP-GUI. The reason for having 2 web shops is that the custom made is the most effective for employees to order from, but it is not nice like a real web shop can be. The reason for creating it like that was to have room for a lot of products in a few pages. So - if you are very familiar with the products and know the pages it is easy to order specific products. Sometimes they order 400 different products and then a GUI like a traditional one would not be effective. The web shop is organized like a matrix and it is easy to move from product to product. FTP Next - orders must be sent using FTP to a Windows server in the same network. Windows is not part of task! (This is because there is a program which MUST run under Windows that use an order-flatfile-textfile to import the order to an accounting-system from where they send out their invoices. The part on the Windows-server is working and it is not necessary to include this work in your offer!) Sharing database Another part of the issue here is that the custom web shop and the new web shop must use the same DB. The admin can – today - in the current web shop - create login-customers (which get an e mail with username and password) by simply clicking a button. That same login must be possible to use on both web shops. The admin can today add and remove products with pictures from their current PHP-application. These products must of course also come up in the new web shop. So – basically the task is to make 1 DB work for both systems. Export/Import-routine To make it less expensive to develop we can accept an automated export/import-routine. This routine can then be started by admin if he/she does any changes so the changes also appear on the new web shop. That way a template can be used with an export/import adjusted to that DB.
