Push notification migration from Parse to AWS (PHP + Android)

We need someone to aid in our push notification migration, from Parse over to AWS. 'Channels' are currently used in Parse (as opposed to 'topics' on AWS), so some transitioning will be required. There are only a few push notifications used, and all are simple alerts. There is no requirement to move over any existing data. Code must be added to each app to create new paths (topics) in AWS, to allow push notifications to arrive once the new build is released. Most of the heavy lifting is done in the backend (which I will be modifying as required). The candidate will need to be very fluent in English, as this will need to be discussed in detail over voice or video calls - the spec will largely be determined by the candidate. The candidate should be familiar with all aspects of push notification, as I will be making desired changes to the PHP API and IOS app, as instructed by the applicant) whilst changes to our android app (Android Studio) will be made by the candidate. There shall be ongoing work in the event of a successful and efficient completion. Working hours will preferably be compatible with Sydney, AU (AEST), as I am currently in Australia. Each candidate will be required to discuss the project in advance, to ensure they are capable of completing the task, and have an adequate understanding of what is required. It should be a fairly simple task, which I foresee taking a few days, to allow for speccing and finding the best solution.
