I wonder what is the best way to produce a thumbnail for every video we upload from a mobile app on S3, should we capture the thumbnail during the uploading? or use AWS service to produce thumbnail for the uploaded videos (Lambda?) please send me only if you have tried this before and have 100% assurance. we need only the piece of code or instructions, we can do it

I suggest you that create thumbnail from video from app and send it to server when you upload video because if you create thumbnail from server then it will take more time then app. so my suggestion is to create from app and upload to the server. i will give you best solution i am happy to serve you let me know your reply Thanks Sudhir

1. As the videos are being uploaded from mobile, I recommend using lambdas to create thumbnails considering the hardware limitations of mobiles and how cheap lambdas are to run on AWS 2. trigger lambda on file upload in your s3 bucket 3. Parse video and create thumbnails (and store to s3?)
