My client needs a staff module for over 100 employees. It needs to display a series of images with a pre-existing SWF/XML viewer along with bio information from a MySQL database. Don’t be scared away about the SWF though, it just needs to be called like an object. It already works on its own.
We’re running:
PHP-Nuke version 6.2
PHP version 4.1.2
MySQL version 3.23.58
I have been working on a form page for the employees to fill in their bio’s with, but need a programmer to make the PHP page that takes the info from there. I imagine the coding is quite easy. The difficult part is letting you know what I need it to do.
So…
[login to view URL]~user11165/[login to view URL]
I need this page to make a copy of a folder on the server (that will contain the SWF viewer, XML doc and an empty images subfolder) and rename it to the employee’s name. Then I need it to populate a table in a database with their bio info. I then need a page after this in the sequence where they can upload 10 images into their respective images folder. I’d imagine the employee name could be the function of the first page and the variable could be passed along through the process. The second page could be where they enter in their bio and the last would be the upload page; through GD so it resizes the images to a standard size and renames them a standard name sequence ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc.). These images don't need to be in a database, though a thumbnail would be nice if you know how to do that.
[login to view URL]~user11165/[login to view URL]
I need this page to populate a PHP-Nuke block located at the top left of this page:
just below where it says “On-shift”. I’d like these names to appear as hyperlinks to their respective bio page modules.
Lastly, I need a simple page (mod) that will list all the employees and hyperlink to their respective bio page mod. I need this one to pull from the MySQL db as well, so updates are done automatically whenever a new employee enters their bio.
I’d very much like an estimate if you’re up for this job. I need it immediately and it may lead to further work.
