Help set up my arduino uno to connect to database

I need to get data from my Mifare RC522 module rfid reader using my arduino board and then send this to my database, creating the php script is not a problem but connecting to the database has been a headache, i've got an Ethernet shield and it's not giving me the results needed to get this connection, I would like some assistance via teamviewer and also simple schematics.
