Create a Wordpress Template

We are seeking a WordPress Developer for a 12-month contract position. In this position you will help create and maintain HighGround’s digital presence as we continue to grow and expand into new markets. The ideal candidate will have an excellent mix of both technical and design skills, working with the latest front-end technologies, experience with CMS installations and a strong understanding of the web development process, as well as skills in CSS, PHP, JavaScript and HTML development. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will interact cross-functionally with other marketing team members, IT and other departments. The ideal candidate will listen, learn and collaborate with others to help create and maintain web properties with a clean, progressive design aesthetic. The WordPress Developer has the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the presentation of our company’s brand. What you'll be doing: Interface directly with marketing, IT and other teams to successfully deliver compelling, user-friendly web properties Translate complex information into simple design / logical interfaces and flows / navigation Design layout and templates for maximum usability and focus on user experience Create landing pages and web sites Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, user interfaces and comp designs Utilize appropriate QA processes Make recommendations for improving website best practices Ensure the corporate website is properly interfacing with Marketo and Salesforce.com. Be responsible for the maintenance of an existing website and web properties using WordPress and other tools Create detailed website reports that can be run on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to management
