Crear una plantilla para Wordpress

I need a PHP code to my wordpres . I need to connect some fields of the local database to a remote database and read the data and store it locally. I have a plugin that generates a local table , and the data for that table are in a remote database ... then I need this plugin point to the remote database . I need to know how , step by step , drawn and perform the work is done .
