Description: Dear Coder: We need you to create a flash audio media player to stream/ play our Artists SAMPLE music files when customers visit the artists SAMPLE music pages (currently project pages). (ALL DETAILS IN THE DELIVERABLES) You Must provide day(s) and time (EDT) of availability when you are available to work on the project so we can be available to provide you with any access to servers or files. We will provide you with all necessary logo(s) and content. If you have any suggestions please let us know ahead of time. PLEASE POST A SAMPLE OF A MEDIA PLAYER YOU HAVE ALREADY DESIGNED AND INSTALLED PRIOR TO OUR ACCEPTING THE BID. NOTE: If you miss a deadline we will deduct a portion of the fee from the bid amount. You will have access to our osCommerce admin area, mySQL database through phpmyadmin and temporary FTP access to .../store/ directory. Jerry Calliste Jr. Bassmint Music Inc. ## Deliverables Deliverables: NOTE: THERE MAY BE SOME UNFORESEEN CHANGES NEEDED TO BE MADE TO THIS PROJECT THAT MAY NOT BE POSTED AT THIS TIME BUT WILL BECOME PREVALENT WHEN YOU POST A SAMPLE OF THE PLAYER. Deliverables: The Flash audio media player will need to display and operate the following way: 1) Complete design, install and program a fully working Flash audio media player (program(s)) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Custom design a Flash audio media player (PHP, XML, create action scripts and possibly CSS) and install a Flash audio media player that will ‘stream’ MP3 music files of all of our Artists SAMPLE music files. The player must have a unique look a feel and design incorporating [login to view URL]’s logo into the design. The player will need to be in the same color combination as our company logo (see our home page [login to view URL] for logo color combination). You will use our logo on the player (logo provided by us when needed). 2) We want a blue bar (color should match the blue in our logo) with white function buttons. We think the size of the bar will be ½ inch to a ¼ High x 6 inch Wide or maybe 1 inch High x 5 inch. Coder will have to show an example on his/her site for approval. a) Back, Stop, Pause, Play and Forward buttons or icons b) Volume meter/bar with a slider - The volume meter/bar has to have a distinct lever or button attached to it so it looks like a slider (similar to how it looks in Real Audio Players volume meter/bar with slider) c) A minimize to the Task Bar button or arrow where the player can be minimized to a task bar and easily retrieved. 3) The top of the bar will contain a headboard or backboard with a white background almost as wide as the bar and contain a) Our company logo 4) The bottom of the bar will contain a white background and contain: a) Streams Artist's Name and Title of song b) the streaming flash audio media player will need to stream/ play our Artists SAMPLE MP3 music files found in our osCommerce shopping cart [login to view URL] c) Functionality: When customers visit our online store and click on ANY OF OUR Artists SAMPLE music link found on their Artists SAMPLE music pages, we would like a Flash audio media player with exclusively designed to appear and play the SAMPLE audio music file. 5) Play MP3 music files whether they are 20 second samples or the Artist's actual for sale music file. 6) The player must be universal in its movement (freely move all over the screen when moved by customer exactly like the Real Audio media player is free to move around the screen and open/ play on top of the page and minimize to task bar) 7) Coding PHP & XML a) * * * From what we have heard, you as the coder will have to program the Artists name, title of song (maybe include the time) using FLASH, PHP AND OR XML and MySql database files (you may have to crete a new database specific for the player to retrieve the SAMPLE music files) so that the player will be able to grab the information and display it on the player when the customer listens to the SAMPLE music files through the audio media player. b) * * * The audio media player will need to be able to play the SAMPLE music files from the current list of all artists and their songs listed on our site and work with artists and their music when we upload at a later date without any additional coding or programming. The same information that displays for the current artists and their songs must display for future artists and their songs that are uploaded * * * WE DO NOT WANT THE FILES TO DOWNLOAD TO THE PERSONS DESKTOP IN ORDER FOR THEM TO PLAY IN THE AUDIO MEDIA PLAYER. 8) VERY IMPORTANT: You will need to install the Flash audio player on your server and show us a sample of the player in working order so we can determine what changes may need to be made or if we accept it as is. 9) VERY IMPORTANT: Give yourself some time to post a sample and make changes if necessary, so you do not miss the deadline. Post the sample of the Flash audio media player, with enough time left in the bid, so you can add changes to the Flash audio media player if changes are needed. Let us know right away and in details what is going on and if you need anything. 10) If we like the work we will then and only then give you ftp access and admin access to our online store so you can then install the player on our server. 11) Deliverables must be installed on our server and fully-functional as described above to be considered a completed deal and in ready-to-run condition, (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) When customers click on ANY of our Artists SAMPLE music link found on any of our artists SAMPLE music pages the player must appear and play any of the artists SAMPLE music tracks, display the name of the track. THAT GOES FOR ARTIST WE HAVE SIGNED NOW AND THOSE THAT WE SIGN IN THE FUTURE. Without any additional programming or coding necessary after you have completed this project. The Flash audio media player will have to recognize the new Artists Sample music files and load the information and play the same way it will load and play the current artists Sample music files. b) If you have any suggestions please let us know so we may consider incorporating them into the bid. c) If you miss a deadline we will deduct a portion of the fee from the bid amount. Please keep us informed of what you are doing and definitely post your status report. d) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. e) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. f) MUST POST TO RAC AND CONFIRM THE FLASH AUDIO MEDIA PLAYER WORKS WITH THE MANY PLATFORMS DEFINED UNDER PLATFORMS. 12) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Platform: All traditional and consumer based operating systems Windows 97, 98, ME, XP, XP PRO, Browsers: Safari, Firefox 1+, Opera 7+ and All 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape and MSN Browser and other popular browsers. You will have temporary access to our online stores admin and FTP directory access to the /store/ directory on our server and directory access to osCommerce. One our server we use a Linux/ Unix based operating system loaded with current versions of osCommerce 2.2+, PHP and mySQL server software.
