This project requires knowledge of interfacing to eBay and making sequential form changes (i.e. selecting options from drop downs, filling in fields, and submitting the form through a succession of pages on eBay). We're looking for a robot/script that increases the auction end time if there are no bids and 13 hours left in the auction automatically. This would assume that there is time remaining for increases i.e. a 3 day auction would go to 5 days, 5 goes to 7, and 7 to 10), at which point, no more increases can be done as eBay doesn't have auctions that go beyond 10 days. This tool should be either cache the auctions and know what's ending or scan the auctions once per day to check what's ending and has time that it can be bumped up to. It will have to automatically go to the site and make the change when there are 13 hours left. Secondly, we would like a tool where we could easily change the list price and buy now price of items (assuming no bids were made as these cannot be changed otherwise). So, when selecting this tool, a list of current auctions (description, item # (hypertexted to a URL of the actual auction that pops open to a new window), their current price, buy now price, and days remaing will be listed. Auctions that have current bids would not be listed. All the changes would be able to be completed on one page and then a submit button at the bottom would complete all the changes made above. Additionally, similar to the project in the first paragraph, there would be a drop down box from 5, 7, 10 days. This gives the option to increase the end time to one of those days. Only the available time left would be in the drop down box. So, if the auction is already on 5 days, only the drop down of 7 and 10 days would display. If it's on the 7th day, then only the 10 day option will appear. Once submitted, there will be a confirmation page showing changes. Login ability so anyone knowing the URL can't use it without name/password. Admin/user logins.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Costs in "fixing" the program if eBay makes changes to their site that disallow it from functioning properly (i.e. page or form changes). Time to complete fixes.
## Platform
This will be hosted on our ISP's server, which is REDHAT LINUX 7.2.
