Jquery Makeover of a ebook store

I have a website of an ebook store which is designed long back, in traditional way. I want to give this store a total make over to the below page with Jquery to look more compelling. Basically i am a programmer but new to Jquery. I am sure i can perform this on help from a experienced Jquery person. So i can do this project as per your guidance. Or else i don't mind either you develop the full script (in ASP/PHP) . Its up to you which option to choose. Regards
