User SignUp Mechanism PHP and MySQL

This is my first attempt to post a project and receive bids, so I am keeping this project very narrowly scoped. I would like a standard user sign up system to be built, similar to the one I just used to join this site. The system must allow a user to be able to enter an email address as part of a registration process. A temporary password or link is sent to that email address. Once the user receives the email and clicks the link they become a registered user and can set a permanent password. From there forward they can then use those credentials to login to the website. Features: 1. An input box that allows a first time user to enter their email address. The input box must do some basic validation that the email address is in the correct format. 2. The automatic creation of a temporary password in link form that gets emailed to the user's address. 3. Once the link in the email has been clicked proving that the user has entered their true email address, they can set a password for their account, and be taken to a landing page. 4. A login page that the user can enter their email address and either the temporary or permanent password. If they enter the temporary password the user should be prompted to create their permanent password and then be taken to the landing page, if they enter their permanent password they should just be taken directly to the landing page. 5. A forgot password feature should email the user a new temporary password and work the same as 3 above. 6. Code and DB will be deployed to a hosted site. A demo and walkthrough of the code is required. This will be used as the first piece of a much larger system. So this login system should be encapsulated so that it can be dropped into that later. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP on MySQL
