Real Estate Listing System

Need to create new real estate listing system based on current in-use system, basically needing to add new features such as national listing system queries to bring outside listings into the site's own listing system. Key points that need to be added - GD image control The system will need to resize images into 200x200 thumbnails and 640x480 full size images. The current system just takes the image, stores it in the database, and the thumbnail is just a 100x75 image from the main image. This creates very slow loading pages when viewing the site due to it loading the fullsize image at 100x75 for the thumbnail. - National listing system query The system will need to query the national listing system and bring the listings into the site, so they show up as normal site listings. I have most of the needed info to query that listing system. - Information queries The listing system will need to return some relevant info about the area the home for sale is located in such as: - Map (this is currently passed to [login to view URL] based on street name and zipcode) - Town stats such as population, general history, etc. (this could be pulled from a demographic type website) - Local school information (could be pulled from a government school stats site) I can disclose the current live site and all data/content once a bid has been accepted. The site is currently live and working with a full design, so only a basic PHP/HTML interface would be needed to get this working before moving it into the actual site design. If a new listing system is started then this will be the first stage in a series of upgrades that will become more complex, so I would prefer to work with a person/team that has some experience in real estate listing systems. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Needs to run on PHP 4.3.10 and MySQL 4.0, will always be run on a Linux based server.
