puzzle solving in C using a microcontroller

my project consist of 9 space(3x3 grid) and 8 platform on the [login to view URL] no 1 space is without a platform,the purpose is for entry and exiting. i already determined and make a table of the sequence of move of the platform form each space to the no 1 space for storage and retrieval purpose. for storage,the program should be able to identify any nearest available platform. for retrieval of a specific platform,the program should be able to know the sequence of move by reading from the table and move accordingly. in some cases the program should be able to swap pallets to move the spacific pallets to the no 1 space. in doing this swapping, some pallets will leave their space location to other space location,so the program should be able to have like a file that contains the update of the new pallet location after each entry and exit. the main controller is a PIC and i am looking at PIC16F877A.i also intend to use ccs C compiler. this algorithm should be coded having the PIC and the compiler in mind. will it be possible to have a graphical user interface.?
