69879 Convert BASH script into PHP

I have attached a batch script (130 lines) that I would like written into a PHP script executable from the command line. This script copies files from one location to another, sets permissions and then installs a mysql database from a dumpfile. The new script will... 1. Write to a log file with the success or failure of each section. 2. Use variables for the location of all directories and files 3. Write changes to config and mysqldump files. ( I have this methodology and will give it if you are curious. It's done in php.) 4. Clean up some of my sloppy BASH scripting work. I need someone who understands PHP really well. A passable understanding of SED and BASH (Linux) are also important, but I can work with you if you don't understand everything in SED or BASH. Good? The BASH script is attached to help you bid.
