Hello Freelancers! I built a Flask app that serves a RESTful (mostly) API to return sensor data to users from a MySQL database (SQLAlchemy). As of now, there is very little optimization in terms of performance (no cache, etc). I am looking for a freelancer to quickly provide recommendations on how to make it as performant as possible - currently, there are a few DB queries that are fairly slow and could benefit from cacheing them, as they do not need to be updated very often. And I need add some features to my app. Other relevant details/notes: * The server is Ubuntu 16.04 on a single Digital Ocean droplet (8GB RAM); this can be upgraded if needed * MySQL is v5.7.22 * Flask is v0.12 * all development is done via GitHub; I can either provide access to the repo or zip and send * I can do implementation if needed If you think you are good fit for my project, please apply.
