Task description: Development of a mobile application for Android. Supported but independent implementation with the provided documentation and tools. Periodical status updates of current project status. Reaching of provided and self set goals. Immediate reporting of problems or road block during development. Scope: The application has a strong focus on social media and is not fully utilisable without internet access. To authenticate, the application must provide a login, registration. With the application the user can submit videos or images to the server, send friend request, search for new content or rate users and their submitted posts. The user can exchange messages with each other and manage their content and account setting from the app. Push Notifications with FCM are essential letting users know when other users interact with them. The application should be close to the mockup except for when the usability for Android users would take a hit. What will be provided: • iOS mockup - Some elements might need to change to provide a better usability to Android users. Feel free to change details. • REST documentation • We are hosting the server on which you can experiment • 24/7 support • A GitHub repository
