I need an iPad app. I would like it designed and built. I would like an app built that uses the Google Maps Distance Matrix API to identify time and distance between a matrix of nominated locations. This app need only work on iPad. Requirement 5 - Collate results. There should be provision to then select any two locations (either map markers or from the list), and for the time and distance between them to be displayed in a window, and a route between them shown on the map. Requirement 6 - Export results The results from the API should be able to be exported, either csv, text, or Excel file (I'm not fussed), with the file named by the user and saved to Dropbox. The results should be: My name for the location (departure location), My name for the location (arrival location), distance, time (hh:mm) Data should be saved in the app, but then deleted when the next import is done. Requirement 1 - Import locations The app should be able to import a list of locations from a file in Dropbox, with the ability to select the folder and file directly from within this app. Preferably this list will be in Excel, although if necessary it could be in a csv file. The list will contain up to five pieces of data for each location; 1, my name for the location (this may not reflect the address or any searchable name for the place), 2. A street address or place name which can be searched on Google Maps, AND/OR 3. Latitude,longitude, 4. Type of location (this will be free text, but there may be up to five different types included in the list) and 5. Route (this will be free text). Requirement 2 - Display locations on Google maps, within the app. I'd prefer the marker for each location to be a small pin, like the one usually used on Apple maps. Different colours should be used to display different types of location, from the list above (item 4 Type of Location). The map should initially be centred and zoomed to display all locations in the data. A list of the locations, showing my name for the location and the type of location, should be on the side of the screen, with the ability to filter this list by Type of location and/or by Route, and a search function to find a particular location by any matching record for the search text. A pop window should also be displayed, showing all categories of data for a location, if the pin is selected on the map. Requirement 3 - Edit locations A location should be able to be selected from the list, and it's data fields edited. A location should also be able to deleted, and a new one created, by placing a marker on the map. Requirement 4 - After filtering the list, there should be a menu to prepare a request for Google Maps Distance Matrix API to return distance (in km) and time between each of the locations displayed on the list. There should be provision to select the following which will be included in the API request: - Departure time (including date) - Travel mode - the traffic model to be either; best guess, pessimistic or optimistic There should be provision at some point to enter an API key. When sending the API request, Google's standard usage limits should not be exceeded. In particular, this may mean if more than 25 locations are involved, that multiple requests must be sent, breaking up the locations - but noting that all locations must be sent as both a departure and arrival point.
