Discrete Factory Simulation Prototype - Simulink

Hello, I want to build a dynamic simulation tool to demonstrate the financial flows within a manufacturing company. Today, I need a prototype to showcase YOUR capability, but still being paid for it. See it like an interview... The final simulation tool might be big, with a lot of inputs and outputs. I would like this tool as much visual as possible, meaning that a non-scientist person can understand what is happening and participate. I am thinking about Simulink, but maybe you have a better idea to propose. I am today looking for a student/scientist/specialist, that will build the simulation tool gradually with me. Again, the prototype simulation has to be dynamic, i.e. I want the simulation starting by loading the data from the excel sheet provided in attachment and generating the Entities recursively in order to make the calculations. And of course I am open to questions and suggestions, but if you ask me what is a min/man reordering qty, I won't answer, i.e. I consider that you have some basic knowledge of manufacturing/planning/supply chain/finance.
