MEAN Stack Developer We are a social networking platform — a "Kickstarter for Ideas". Our goal is to give social entrepreneurs access to the collective intelligence and experience of a vast number of users in order to solve complex problems that affect our world. We are looking for an outstanding MEAN Stack Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. You are also expected to handle the UX activities. Your responsibilities would include both maintenance and significant site expansion at 6-12 month intervals. Our first two projects are discrete platform upgrades that we hope to begin within 2 weeks. We are looking for a fixed-price quote for each of these two contracts, with the hope that the developer would then continue to work with us if we are a good fit. Requirements • Proven working experience in JavaScript programming • Proven hands-on experience in developing web apps using AngularJS • Experience with server side programming in Node.js • Hands on experience in MySQL Database • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS • Experience in source control system Git • Expertise using Object Oriented Design concepts and design patterns • A person with UX design expertise would be preferable Responsibilities • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs • Create and maintain software documentation • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review • Excellent team player that enjoys collaborative effort Experience • 2-10 years of relevant experience
