Node.js Chat Server Improvements - repost

I have a chat thats currently working in node.js but I need some further improvements: Design Touch ups: Tabs:- Closable Tabs ([login to view URL]) Scrollable Tabs ([login to view URL]) Icons for Tabs ([login to view URL]) User list:- I only implemented one as a test, but for all the users to have this hover effect (that for now just shows username and status (available, away, busy, idle) for the time being. Login: I want to use [login to view URL] & mongodb to authenticate the users at login (so a register and signup page) - currently im using a php script, so the methods should be similar to interchange. Chat: My current chat room is statuc, but i want Dynamic chat rooms, you can use monogodb with node.js ([login to view URL]) so the server displays the chat rooms we have in our database. In the database I want an option to have options for: Chat Room Name, Max Connections, Chat Room Message, Chat Room Icon. When you click a chat room it opens a new tab (you can find the javascript in one of the links above). Just make sure that you copy over all the current features such as the status's (you can just add a dropdown menu in the top menu for now). It also has an idle javascript file that changes the users status when idle. Make sure users chat colour is still decided by the server. Also, make sure the emoticons plugin are transferred over correctly.
