I already worked on projects with touch events. i.e click any where on the screen to get the touch points and swipe the finger from one point to another point. Also handled with NSTimers. Touches events can be handled from touches delegate methods. TouchesBegan, TouchesMoved and TouchesEnded in iOS. Using NSTimer to run a timer or invalidate it. Hope it will be completing in short time.
