I have recently published my first sci-fi novel titled "Petroleum Star" through Amazon. Now I need to advertise it. I want to place a full-box ad (300 x 300 px) for my book on the locusmag website, which is seen by many sci-fi readers. This ad should be a GIF that will display a full-color graphic cover image, which will then disappear to reveal a block of text, a 60-word blurb that briefly describes what my novel is about. The GIF will alternate between image and text every few seconds. The viewer should be able to roll their mouse/cursor over the ad in order to "freeze" it so that they may read the text, or view the cover image, at their own pace. I have mocked-up a crude version of what I want the image design to look like (see attached file).
