Game App Backgrounds

We are a small start-up company (just two guys at the moment) with several ideas for gaming apps. We would like some art work for our first games. For now, we need about 10 still backgrounds. I (the designer) have rough sketches of the panorama the BGs will have. You will have some freedom to be creative, so long as you run any changes by me first of course. I'm looking for somewhat animated (colorful, not realistic) backgrounds. See sample (from artist Daniel Thomas) . Will provide details once chosen. Our budget is limited, the first 10 BGs cannot exceed 160 hours of work.
